Economic globalization in the form of international trade relations through the free market slogan has had both positive and negative impacts. This condition is a consequence of the countries that are members of the WTO to create a competitive market. Trade protectionism is a form of anti-free market policy that is unfair in the international market. This policy was carried out to protect the domestic market which, on the other hand, reduced the spirit of the free market. Protection is often carried out by applying administrative document rules, quota amounts, product certification, health aspects, labor protection as a way for the state to protect its domestic market. One example is a policy that was carried out by the United States which had the effect of causing the United States to block import activities carried out by Adidas due to demands that had been filed by competing brands, namely Nike. The result As a result of free trade is the opening of business activities in different countries. There are no more national borders in international trade (the borderless world), advances in information and communication technology have supported the creation of international business quickly. The emergence of international business/international marketing was originally due to the needs of a country that could not be met by the country itself. However, along with the times and changes in human lifestyles, international trade has changed into a business in the sense of seeking profits in any part of the world.
